Holwerda Shipmanagement celebrated the christening of "MV Alma".

Earlier this year the company had ordered two GS Eco Freighter 3700  at the GS Yard B.V. The multipurpose vessels are 88m long, 13.4m wide and with a maximum draught of 4.9m the deadweight is 3.690 tons. Noteworthy is that the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) of the vessels are 37% below the EEDI required in 2025.

Holwerda for over 130 years of full-service ship management.The company owns fleet currently consists of 10 vessels, ranging in size from 4,600 to 8,700 tons of cargo capacity, all sailing under the Dutch flag. Holwerda is regarded as a specialist in container shipping. The ships are mainly used in various scheduled services, mainly in the North and Baltic Seas.
